This world has lost me, one estranged, from now on,
Wherein so many hours did I spoil!
For years, of me they’ve heard of nothing go on
So long, they might well think me entombed in soil!
To me the world don’t seem to be so crucial.
I care not whether people see me dead,
To which I, tired, cannot give refusal,
For I’m exactly dead, as just they’ve said.
I’m long dead to a world that’s short of leisure,
Yet calmly resting in a tranquil zone,
In solitude I live in heavens azure,
And in my love thereat, and in my song.
